Dry Skin, Eczema and Hard Water

On a number of occasions, prospective customers have approached us asking whether it is likely that the installation of a water softener will improve a dry skin condition or eczema.

Experience has shown that in a number of instances, the introduction of soft water has appeared to ameliorate the condition, but it must be pointed out that the tests were not carried out on a scientific basis and no absolute guarantee can be given in this respect.

We are, however, prepared to install a water softener on free loan for a two month evaluation period for an eczema sufferer, provided that the costs of the plumbing installation are paid at the outset.
